However, despite the fact that the game’s embargo was lifted on February 23rd, it received an overall rating of 97 on Metacritic for the PlayStation 5, compared to 95 for the Xbox 360 and 95 for the PC. However, despite the fact that those are extremely impressive numbers, the user score for the PC version has recently taken a turn for the worse. As of the time of this writing, Elden Ring runes have received some 0 points, resulting in an overall rating of 6.1 for the participant. The game was described as not only better than any other Dark Souls game, but also as one of the best games of all time by Faris Delalic, one of our very own reviewers, in a moving piece written about the game. Upon further investigation, we discovered that the game had received hundreds upon hundreds of negative reviews from players, which led us to believe that the game had been hacked. Our frustration manifested itself in the form of us pulling our hair out in frustration. What could possibly be the source of such widespread dissatisfaction with this masterpiece on the part of so many gamers?
