Step 2: Oracle Database 11g: Administration I 1Z0-052

The “Introduction to Oracle9i SQL” test has been redesigned. Set and conditional operators, which were not available in the previous version, have been added to the text. As a result, instead of taking the previous test, you should take this one.

2. Professional Certification

The professional certification qualifies you to handle extensive databases and create database applications on a large scale. You must complete an instructor-led course, an exam, and hands-on Oracle certification training to become an Oracle Certified Professional (OCP).

This course requires the OCA certification as a prerequisite.

3. Master Certification

This is the highest level of Oracle certifications. To get started, you’ll need an OCP certification. Then you’ll take a two-day test followed by hands-on training.

Step 1: Obtain an OCP Certification

You must first achieve the Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification before applying for the Oracle Certified Master (OCM).

The completion of two courses from a list of more than 30 courses in the next stage toward master certification. Some of these courses may be similar to those available as part of the OCP certification process.
