Everything You Need to Know About CBDP Cannabinoid

Must read

We recently published an article about THCP, a novel cannabinoid. THC is thought to be less strong than this new cannabinoid. The same Italian researchers who found THCP also identified  CBDP Cannabinoid, a novel cannabinoid that is comparable to CBD. THCP and CBDP have a structure that is extremely similar to THC and CBD. CBDP has a seven-link chemical structure, and scientists are researching it to learn more about its effects and how it interacts with our CB1 and CB2 receptors.

This study added additional cannabinoids to the list of over 150 cannabinoids that had previously been found. We don’t know much about their medical properties because they were only recently identified.

What is Cannabidiphorol?

Cannabinoids have a five-link molecular structure that is mostly found in nature. Both THCP and CBDP, on the other hand, have a seven-link chemical structure. This distinguishes them from other cannabinoids. Both cannabinoids were discovered by an Italian scientist who believes that their unique chemical structure has a variety of medical benefits. Despite this, we don’t know much about CBDP and its potential to bind to the CB1 and CB2 receptors right now.

Cannabidiphorol has a wide range of applications. It’s thought to play a role in determining the precise entourage effect generated from a particular cannabis strain, for example. It may also play a role in how a cannabis strain interacts with different people. This could explain why different people react to the same cannabis strain in different ways.

Analgesic and relaxing effects are shared by THCP and CBDP. In addition, CDBP, like CBD, has a lot of potential as a treatment for neurological illnesses like epilepsy. CBD is already being used to treat epilepsy (Epidiolex is an FDA-approved drug for the treatment of two rare forms of childhood epilepsy).

The scientific community, on the other hand, is more interested in THCP than CBDP. This is because they know CBD attaches poorly to CB1 and CB2 receptors, and they don’t think a longer chemical structure will bind better to our endocannabinoid receptors than CBD.

Is CBDP Legal?

CBDP, like CBD, is a legal substance. Only THC is unlawful under federal law. Hemp is authorized under the 2018 agricultural bill if it contains less than 0.3 percent THC.

CBD and CBDP both have a lot of medical promise. Although we don’t know much about this cannabinoid (which was found in 2019), scientists feel it has significant promise.

Is there a CBDP-rich cannabis strain?

Cannabidiphorol is not present in any cannabis kinds, but it is just a matter of time before someone develops cannabis strains rich in this “new” cannabinoid. CBDP can be extracted in the form of isolates or cannabis oils by cultivating cannabis strains high in this cannabinoid.

Cannabidiphorol is difficult to come by right now. There aren’t many websites that sell CBDP goods. There are several reasons for this, the most important of which being that it has similar effects as CBD. Furthermore, CBD products are currently extremely costly, and CBDP would almost certainly be significantly more so.

Cannabidiphorol was discovered in 2019, but there are still just a few cannabis extraction companies that provide it. Only a few research laboratories, for example, have it.

CBDP: Bottom Line

More information about THCP and CBDP is still needed. Researchers believe that THCP has more applications than CBDP. CBDP and its medicinal properties, on the other hand, will continue to be studied.

We may learn more about CBDP and its medicinal properties in the future, and future studies may reveal novel CBDP applications.
