To know which materials to use, consider the following factors when choosing how to pack your product:

 

  • The weight of the product: the heavier the product, the more resistant the packaging material must be. You can check the resistance of the box you are going to use through the manufacturer’s seal. Heavier items may need double or even triple layer corrugated boxes. Lighter items can be packed in a polyurethane bag.
  • Size and shape of the product: if you use a box, there must be enough space for the padding material. The item being packed must not touch the sides of the box.
